Easy Paper Pine cone Decoration

Hi Everyone,

I am back with another tutorial.
Today i have a gorgeous decoration that looks like a pine cone. This would be great to hang on the Christmas Tree and you could also alter the size and make larger or smaller ones.

They are really simple to make and all you need is some 12" x 12" DSP and a hot glue gun! I hope you like them.

They are basically made in the same way that you make rosettes. The only difference being that you stack them on top of each other.

The cone in the left of the picture is made with the beautiful year of cheer DSP and the cone on the right is made with the painted harvest DSP. The rope craft trim i used as a hanging loop is retired now. I just had a bit left that i wanted to use up.

These are great fun to make and you can make them in any colour you like. I have a few more ideas for these so i will post any more i do on this blog.

The products i used are listed at the end of this post as well as the link for my You Tube video.

DIMENSIONS

2 PIECES DSP MEASURING 1" X 12"

4 PIECES OF DSP MEASURING 1 1/4" X 8"

JOIN THE 1 1/2" PIECES TOGETHER AND ALSO THE 4 PIECES MEASURING 1 1/4" X 8" BUT MAKE 2 ROSETTES OUT OF THEM

#4 Craft Fair Series Sunday Combined Treat Box & Gift Card Holder!

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my blog & project number 4 of my craft fair series Sunday. I hope you are enjoying this series & i hope its giving you lots of ideas & inspiration!

Today i have a gorgeous little box that i made to hold some mini candy canes & a Gift card. I made it in non traditional colours which were Black, white & gold. I also used the swirly Snowflake dies. I hope you like it.

I love this box. I cut a sweet little window out of the box & added some Designer acetate to it. Of course you dont have to put mini candy canes in it. You could maybe put some chocolates in instead.

You could put some Whisper white on the back of the gift card holder section so the person can write a message there.

This really is very simple to make and would look fantastic on your craft fair table!!

DIMENSIONS

Basic black card measuring 10 3/8" x 8"

Score the long side @ 1/2",  1 1/4",  2 3/4",  3 1/2"  &  7 3/4"

#7 Festive Friday 3 Sided Heat Embossed Christmas Cracker

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my blog & project number 7 of my festive Friday series.
How the weeks are flying by!! I can not believe that it will be Christmas in about 4 weeks!! I have nearly finished all my Christmas shopping so i am very happy about that :-)

So today i have some very pretty Christmas Crackers that only have 3 sides! I thought it was something a little different to the norm. I have also stamped my crackers and heat embossed them. This is a great way to create your crackers the way you like them. These would be great for gifts or just putting on the Christmas table. I hope you like them.

With the gold cracker i punched the ends with the ticket tear border punch. I really like the way that turned out. Also, you could change the measurements if you would like to have your cracker bigger or smaller.
You will need the envelope punch board for these & if you do not have one....you really do not know what you are missing!!! There really is know end to what you can make with it.

I love these crackers & as i said before, i think they are a bit different having only 3 sides.

DIMENSIONS

Whisper white card measuring
5" x 8"          OR          12.8 cm x 20.3 cm

Score the short side @ 1 1/2",  3"  & 4 1/2"              OR             3.8 cm,  7.7 cm & 11.5 cm

Score the long side @ 1",  1 1/2"  & 2" on both ends    OR         2.5 cm,  3.8 cm & 5 cm

Please find all the products i used listed below & also the link for my YouTube tutorial.

I will be back tomorrow with Stamp set Saturday!

Gorgeous Rosettes made using Washi Tape & Awesomely Artistic

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my blog & my usual Wednesday Tutorial.
Today i have some beautiful Rosettes that are really simple to make & look great. I was playing around the other day with Washi tape and thought it would look lovely on some Rosettes. I hope you agree!!

I made a few in a Christmas style & these could be hung on the Tree or even put on the front of presents. I also came up with the idea of gluing a small Candy Cane on the front.

This is a great way to use up your Washi Tapes & even your scrap card. Most of mine were made from a piece of card measuring 11 3/4" x 2" and scored on the long side @ every 1/2"

The non Christmas one i make in the tutorial would be great for a Birthday or anything you like. I used the Ticket Tare punch for that and i love the way it turned out.

Please check out my You Tube tutorial which you can find the link below. I have also listed all the products i used in case you wish to buy any.

Thank you
