5 DIFFERENT Ways To MAKE Shaker Cards/Tags!!

Shaker card ideas, #shakercards, #positivelypapercraft,

Hi Crafters
Today i am bringing you a tutorial on 5 different ways you can make shaker cards/tags/embellishments etc. I hope you enjoy the tutorial and also the projects i made. I hope you will give them a try and maybe find out that shakers are really not that scary! Lots of people struggle to make them and its such as shame as shakers are so much fun!

Easy tulle shaker card

The first card i made was a Tulle shaker! Tulle is so inexpensive and you can pick it up from Aliexpress or Ebay. It comes in so many colours and styles. For example you can get glitter Tulle, sparkle Tulle and many more. This card is so easy to make and if you give it a try i think you will become quite addicted to making Tulle shakers!!

Easy vellum shaker card, Flat shaker card, positivelypapercraft

The next card i made was a flat vellum shaker. This is another easy and simple way to make a shaker card. No foam tape required and you can also heat emboss your vellum like i did to make it look even more pretty! These are quite addictive to make so i hope you will give it a try!

plastic packaging shaker cards

The next shaker i made was a blister pack shaker tag! This was just an old blister pack that i had from some gems. Make sure you save all your plastic packaging now as they make great shakers!! You could also use this method to gift small charms etc. I love this idea and i think its one of my favourites! I hope you will give it a try!

The last two shakers i made were a Perfume Bottle and also a tag made using the Fuse Tool. The Perfume bottle was made by cutting out 5 or 6 layers of card and gluing them together to make your shaker instead of foam tape. Another great method when its very hard to find thin foam tape to fit round your die cut etc,.

Please check out my youtube tutorial for step by step instructions. You can find the link at the end of this post.

Until next time........

Large Stamp Storage Box (Holds Q-Connect Storage Pouches)

Hi Crafters :-)
I am back today with a Craft Room/Stash storage project. You may remember the Q-Connect stamp/Die storage pockets i shared with you the other day. I had a few people asking what containers etc i then store the pockets in. I thought this was a perfect opportunity to make my own. This is a really large and sturdy box but i would not recommend filling it with loads of heavy Dies. I have used it to store my stamps. There is no way on this earth it would hold my Dies, it would collapse straightaway haha.
You could store some Dies in it but not loads.

The box is made from Chipboard and i also attached some lovely metal feet to the bottom. Although its not my 'usual' decoration style, i love it and it looks great on the shelf.

DIMENSIONS

2 X CHIPBOARD MEASURING 9 1/2" X 6"

2 X CHIPBOARD MEASURING 6 1/2" X 6"

1 X CHIPBOARD MEASURING 9 1/2" X 6 1/2"

DESIGNER PAPER
2  X 11 1/2" X 8"

2 X 8 1/2" X 8"

1 X 11 1/2" X 8 1/2"

BLACK CARD TO LINE THE INSIDE

1 X 9 3/8" X 6 3/8"

2 X 9 3/8" X 5 7/8"

2 X 6 3/8" X 5 7/8"

I hope you have enjoyed my project and will make some for your craft room. You could also make it as a special gift box and maybe make a matching lid.
Please check out my tutorial for full instructions. You can find the link at the end of this post.

Beautiful 6x6 Butterfly Box (FEAT ALINACRAFT)

Positivelypapercraft Butterfly box using Alinacraft dies

Hi everyone,

Happy Saturday!!
I am back today with a Design Team project/Tutorial for Alinacrafts. OMG i LOVE these 2 dies! How beautiful?? This would make a beautiful gift box for a Wedding or a very special occasion. Its a really good size so you can fit lots of goodies inside. Also really quick to make and i think it looks gorgeous.
I used 2 sheets of 12x12 card and cut them both down to 10x10". I simply scored one of them @ 2" on all 4 sides and i did the same with the other piece but just moved it away from the side of the score board every time i scored. This allows just a little extra room so the lid can fit.
The paper i used for this box is from First Edition and its called the promise. Its a stunning paper pad and i picked mine up from Amazon. You can also get it from The Range and online craft shops.

As i said before, the 2 dies i used are from Alinacraft, here are the links if you wish to purchase them:
