Easy & Beautiful Flower Box

Easy flower shadow box

Hi Everyone,
Thank you for popping by my Blog today. I hope you are all well. Its been a week or 2 since i have posted any tutorials. I have been so busy with Flower boxes & Crafts kits. However i have managed to get a tutorial done today.  This is a beautiful Flower box which looks so realistic. I have mine hanging on the wall and really can not tell its made from card and paper! It just looks so real.

My flowers are made using Heartfelt creations dies but of course you can use any Flowers you have. I made 16 of them and put them in a sort of Ombre effect. light to dark. They look so pretty and for the centre of the Flowers i used seed beads. I love using them for Flower centres. You just put a big dollop of hot glue in the middle and sprinkle your seed beads on the top.

The shadow box is made in the same way i did the Christmas advent calendar and also the shadow box that held 4 mini boxes in the middle. Its a really large size and measures about 11 1/2" x 11". I hope you like it and will have a go at making one yourself. It really is so easy to do and the end result is beautiful. It would make a perfect gift for so many people.

Below you can find the measurements in imperial and metric.

PATTERNED PAPER FOR THE FLOWER BACKGROUND 8 1/2" X 9"

HUGE No Die Doctors Style Handbag/Gift bag

Giftbag, Handbag tutorial, No die Doctors bag,

Hi Everyone,
Thank you for stopping by my blog Today. I hope you are all keeping well & safe.  I can not believe its Friday already! The week has just flew by. Hopefully in a few weeks we may have some sort of normality back, well i hope we do.

Anyway, i have been asked quite a few times if i could make some sort of Doctors bag without any dies. So here we are! This is my little creation of a Doctors style bag. Its very easy to make & my tutorial explains it step by step. I hope you like it & will have a try at making one.

This is a really large bag & it measures about 10" wide, 7" deep & 7" tall. You can fit loads in it & i am sure whoever you gift it to will be thrilled with it. All you need to make it is 2 pieces of 12 x 12" patterned paper and 2 A4 pieces of card. No dies are needed to construct the Bag. I did use a small circle die to make my Buckles and draw some corners on the Bag. You could also use the bottom of a cup or Glass maybe.

Below you can find the dimensions of the Bag & at the end of the post you will also find the link to my Youtube video.

DIMENSIONS

2 X  PATTERNED PAPER MEASURING 12 X 10"

SCORE THE LONG SIDE @ 1/2" DO THIS ON BOTH PIECES

My Very First Shabby Chic card!

Easy shabby chic cards

Hi Everyone,
Thank you for popping by my Blog today. I am super excited to share my very first shabby chic card with you!! For so long i have admired these types of cards & been so scared to try them. To be honest i had no clue where to even start! I just thought they were way beyond me.

If you follow me, you will no that lately i have been mentioning Lady E Designs. I Love watching this Lady! She is so talented & just makes the most stunning creations. One thing she makes is gorgeous Shabby Chic style cards. I have been admiring them for such a long time. This time i decided to try one for myself. Now i am happy with it, i no its not half as good a some but i am very pleased with the end result.

This card is very different from what i normally do, however i think we all need a change now & then. It helps our creativity. Actually i loved making this & i am 100% sure that i will be doing this again very soon. Since i watched Lady E Designs make her stunning Foamiran Flowers i have been hooked on this type of Shabby look.

Positivelypapercraft, Shabby chic cards,

I suppose the purpose of this post is to say that why not try something new??? Push yourself out of your comfort zone. You never know, you may even fall in love with it. I no i have & they do say a change is as good as a rest.

To make my card i used a pre bought DL card (double length). The background paper is from a Paper Craft Society kit. I used a Woodware paper distress tool for my edges. The leaves i cut from various dies i have and just used scrap paper to cut them from. The Foamiran flowers i made myself and the white straw like stuff is called sisal i believe!.

I hope you like it & i also hope it was a nice change for you to see something different from me.

Thank you & i will be back very soon with another video. In fact i am going to record a video of me making this type of card.

Before i go i would also like to invite you to join Craftworld. Its FREE and full of tips, tricks and tutorials etc. Its a fairly new site and we are hoping to build it up to become bigger and better :-) You can find lots of experts in there including me . Please click my link and come on over.

Designer Inspired Handbag Case

Hi Everyone,
Thank you for popping over to my Blog. I hope you are all well & continuing to Craft! To be honest i think thats all that is keeping my going at the minute!. These last few days i have been really struggling with it all. I just hope & pray that it is over very soon. Like just seems so bleak at the minute.

I was looking through Pinterest the other day & i came across this beautiful Handbag Case. It was a 'real' Bag & i thought straightaway i would try & make it out of paper. I am quite pleased with the result. It would look great decorated in anyway i think. Maybe you could make it with some pretty paper or do some heat embossing on it.

I also put a little mirror inside the lid.

This Case is very simple to make & the base is made from one 12 x 12" piece of Black card stock. The square effects on the case are just 4" x 1/4" pieces of Black glitter card. I hope you will give it a go, you can gift all sorts of goodies in it & i think it also has quite an elegant look to it.

Easy No Die Trapezoid Handbag

Hi Everyone,
Thank you for stopping by my Blog Today. I was browsing Pinterest the other day & i came across a Ladies Leather Handbag. I loved the style & shape & had a go at making it out of paper & card. I am quite pleased with the result & i hope you are to. Its pretty straight forward to make & the best thing is that you don't need any dies to make it. All you need is paper, card, a pencil & ruler.

I have had a sewing machine for a while now & i love the look of sewing on your paper. My Daughter is learning to sew as she wants to make her own cosplay costumes. I thought this would be the perfect chance for me to give it a go as the machine was already out. I am still a learner so its not perfect but i am happy with the result.

The handle is just a string of pearls that someone sent me in a swap last year. I really like the way it looks & gives it a quite elegant feel.

I hope you will give this sweet little bag a go. You can find all the measurements below & i will also put the link to my video at the end of this post.
