Gorgeous Pencil Sleeve

Hi Everyone.

Welcome to my Blog & as always, thank you for stopping by today.

Just recently i bought some personalized Pencils that have my website on them. I have seen these around & new i wanted to get some. I will probably gift some of them to my customers etc. With that in mind i thought it would be a nice idea to make a sleeve to gift to the pencil. They are very quick & simple to make & just make this little gift that extra bit special.

You can make this project from either DSP or Card stock, the choice is yours. The one i made in card was also heat embossed with Silver powder. I used the gorgeous Crafting Forever stamp set to heat emboss the pens on the front. I love how this one turned out.

DIMENSIONS

CARDSTOCK MEASURING 2 1/4" X 6"

SCORE THE SHORT SIDE @ 1/4" ON BOTH SIDES

CARDSTOCK MEASURING 1 3/4" X 11 3/4"

I also think these would make great little gifts to sell at Craft Fairs.

Please find the link to my YouTube tutorial at the end of this post.

Bye for now!

Gorgeous Origami Fold Out Card Using Lift Me Up

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my Blog on this fabulous Friday!!

Today i have a really cool & sweet little project! It's called a Origami Fold Card ( I believe!) I love this card & whoever you give it to will think its so cool!!

This card really is not hard to make at all! I think the tricky bit can be getting the fold right. Once you have that & the more you fold it in & out, the easier it will become.

One of the great things about this card is that you can use up your scraps to make it. The little squares of card stock & DSP i used all measure 1 7/8 x 1 7/8".
Below you will find all the measurements and also the link for my YouTube tutorial.

DIMENSIONS

WHISPER WHITE CARD MEASURING 8" X 8"

SCORE ALL 4 SIDES @ 2" THEN SCORE ALL 4 SIDES @ 4" BUT ONLY DOWN TO THE FIRST SCORE LINE.

8 PIECES OF DSP MEASURING 1 7/8" SQUARE

6 PIECES OF CARD MEASURING 1 7/8" SQUARE

I hope you will have a go at making one of these fun cards. I love it and i think it would be great for children.

I will be back again on Sunday with another project.

Bye for now

Week 4 The Happy Crafters Design Team-Bird Banter

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my blog and week 4 of the April design team.
Sadly this will be the last design team project from the Happy Crafters for a while. As i said last week i may start doing it again later in the year but we will see how things go.

I have had a great few months seeing the beautiful things the Ladies have made and i will miss it lots. I purchase the stamp sets myself and send them to the Ladies free of charge. It can get quite costly and at the minute its just not possible. I am not fortunate to have hundreds of customers and even though i work my fingers to the bone i still do not make very much.

Anyway, as usual i have linked the Ladies projects below. Please just click the links and it will take you direct to there blog.

Beautiful Dragonfly Light Box

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my Blog & thank you for visiting today.
I LOVE today's project & i would like to say first that i CASED this from a lovely lady in my team. The Lady is Andrea Parr & HERE IS THE LINK to Andrea's Blog post.

This beautiful light box is very simple to make and also great fun! Andrea made hers using the large Butterfly die but i decided to use the Dragonfly Thinlits for mine. The idea is to pop a battery operated Tea light inside the box. Please DO NOT use a real tealight as you will cause a fire. You can pick up battery Tealights from pound shops etc.

I used Very vanilla card for my light box pictured abouve and i hand stamped the background with the beautiful Touches of texture stamp set. The light box that is pictured below was made using Sahara Sand card stock & also the Perennial Birthday stamp set.

I hope you like today's tutorial and will have a go at making one yourself. This would make a very special gift for someone and its also very unique.
