#1 Craft Fair Series Sunday

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my Blog & my brand new series, Craft fair Sunday!
As the craft fair season is in full swing now, i though i would make some cute projects. Hopefully it will give you lots of ideas & inspiration on what to make & hopefully sell.

The cute box i have today is not my idea. As i mention in my You Tube tutorial, i got this from a lady called Hannelore Drews.  You can find the link to the ladies project in my YouTube Tutorial.  As soon as i saw this box i new i had to make it! Its so cute.

I did make a couple of changes to it though. I made my closure a little longer & i also reinforced the drawer. Anyway, i hope you like it.

As you can see from the pictures, i filled the box with gorgeous buttons & the drawer with tiny twine samples! How cute is that??? This box is really simple to make & the great thing is you only need a small amount of card!
I love the cute Twine spools. I used the christmas quilt thinlits for the spool. I cut 5 out and wrapped them all with twine. You could probably fit 2 more in the drawer.

  1. Thanks so much Ann. I am putting into practice your ideas. Remember the beautiful chocolate wrap? I could not find the 40 gr. chocolates so I bought the regular 100 gr. ones. I modified the measurements: 9 1/2 x 7 1/2; score at 3 - 3 1/2 - 6 1/2 - 7. The edge does not fit into my Cuttlebug so I punched the edge with a border punch . . . they look absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! Thanks so much!!

  3. Hi Ann,

I tried making this little box using two rulers to try and figure out the imperial measurements , but to no avail. My little drawer is way too small for the wrap, and the wrap is too small to fit on the bottom of the box. Oh well, it was worth a try...Ann in Canada
