Welcome to my Blog & project number 6 of my SAB Sunday series.
As it is Mothers day next Sunday i thought i would make a Mothers Day card. Of course you can make this card for any occasion.
I think it is so sweet & its really simple to make. I did use mainly SAB items for it but i did use another stamp set & also the large letter framelits for the word Mam. As i am from the North East of England that is how way say 'Mam'.
I made the card in Whisper white & Marina Mist. The front panel of the card was made using the gorgeous basket weave embossing folder. I sprayed the card first with some Surgical spirit (Rubbing alcohol) This stretches the fibres of the card so there is less chance of it cracking. This is because the embossing folder is a dynamic one and its so thick. The embossed result is amazing. I poured some wink of stella into my alcohol and gave it a good shake. Not only do i have an alcohol solution but also a gorgeous shimmer spray!!
