Hi Everyone,
Welcome to my Blog. The first thing i want to say is HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I hope you all have a Healthy, Happy & Crafty new year.
It won't be long before its Valentines day again, how quick it comes round! I thought the card i was making today would be perfect as a Valentines card.
I was inspired by the Fan card that i made the other day. Here is a link to the post in case you missed it FAN CARD Again this design can be used for so many different occasions. I just think it looks so elegant. I hope you agree.
As i mentioned in my YouTube Tutorial, you can have the 'curtain' running along the top of your card and also down the side, the choice is yours. I think it looks gorgeous either way. You can also make your fan larger is you like. Just cut the card or paper longer and keep scoring at every 1/2" or 1/4", again the choice is yours.
I hand stamped the little hearts in red ink creating my own background for the card front. I used 2 hearts from my stash, one was cut in gold glitter card and the the other one in white. I stamped a sentiment on with the same red ink. The red bow is a die that also have in my crafty stash. I thought it would be a nice embellishment to add a bow in the middle.
The inside of the card was also stamped with a sentiment. I popped some gorgeous heart embellishments on the front of the card to 'finish' it off.
Please remember to check out my Youtube tutorial, as always i have put the link at the end of this blog post.
DIMENSIONS
CARD BASE MEASURES 4 1/8" X 11 3/4"

2 X WHITE CARD FOR THE FRONT AND THE INSIDE BOTH MEASURES 4" X 5 5/8"
I hope you have enjoyed my project for today and will maybe give this design a go.
