Easy No Die Trapezoid Handbag

Hi Everyone,
Thank you for stopping by my Blog Today. I was browsing Pinterest the other day & i came across a Ladies Leather Handbag. I loved the style & shape & had a go at making it out of paper & card. I am quite pleased with the result & i hope you are to. Its pretty straight forward to make & the best thing is that you don't need any dies to make it. All you need is paper, card, a pencil & ruler.

I have had a sewing machine for a while now & i love the look of sewing on your paper. My Daughter is learning to sew as she wants to make her own cosplay costumes. I thought this would be the perfect chance for me to give it a go as the machine was already out. I am still a learner so its not perfect but i am happy with the result.

The handle is just a string of pearls that someone sent me in a swap last year. I really like the way it looks & gives it a quite elegant feel.

MEASUREMENTS 

2 PIECES OF CARD OR PAPER MEASURING 8 1/4" X 4 3/4" 
MEASURE ALONG THE TOP ON BOTH ENDS @ 2 1/4" LIKE I SHOW YOU IN THE VIDEO.

2 PIECES OF CARD MEASURING 3 1/4" X 5 1/4" 
SCORE THE SHORT SIDE @ 1/2" ON BOTH ENDS

1 PIECE OF CARD MEASURING 3 1/4" X 9 1/4" 
SCORE ALL 4 SIDES @ 1/2"

1 PIECE OF CARD FOR THE TOP MEASURING 6 X 6 1/4"
