Fathers Week-Tool Box Gift Box

Hi Everyone

Welcome to Day 2 of my Fathers Day week. Today i have a really cool Tool box gift box. I love this & it would be great to pop sweets/chocolates in. It has 3 boxes that you can fill with goodies! Its fairly simple to make but you will need 12 x 12" card for it. You also need about 10 brads.

I love the Red & Black colours as i think it looks very striking. You can of course make yours in any colour you like. I think the black ink around the edges also looks rather cool! I was going to use some Black brads and i sort of wish i had now.

MEASUREMENTS 

CARD FOR THE BOX BASE MEASURES 12 X 9" 

SCORE ALL 4 SIDES @ 1/2" & 2 1/2"

OR

30.5 CM X 22.8 CM 

SCORE ALL 4 SIDES @ 1.2 CM &  6.3 CM 

CARD FOR THE 2 TOP BOXES MEASURES 12 X 8 1/2"

SCORE THE LONG SIDE @ 1/2",  2 1/2",  9 1/2"  &  11 1/2"

SCORE THE SHORT SIDE @ 2, 4, 6  &  8"

OR

30.5 CM X 21.5 CM 

SCORE THE LONG SIDE @ 1.2 CM,  6.3 CM,  24.1 CM &  29.2 CM 

SCORE THE SHORT SIDE @ 5 CM,  10.1 CM,  15.2 CM  &  20.3 CM 

YOU WILL NEED A PIECE OF CARD FOR THE HANDLE WHICH IS ABOUT 3/4" X 16" 

YOU WILL NEED TO JOIN TO PIECES TOGETHER, THEN SCORE EACH END AT ABOUT 5"

YOU NEED 4 PIECES OF CARD FOR YOUR HINGES MEASURING 3 1/2" X 1/2" 

OR

9 CM X 1.2 CM
